Develop true international experience through the Global Leadership Module that combines four semesters of coursework with three international excursions:
Europe - The second course in the Global Leadership series focuses on the European Union. The excursion to Greece opens discussion on continental issues.
Latin America - The third course in the series focuses on Latin America and includes an excursion to Argentina to meet with business executives add service/learning.
Asia - The final course in the Global Leadership series focuses on Asia and rapidly developing markets and includes an excursion to China.
Develop real practical experience through two years of hard-hitting consulting and business plan development in the Practice of Management Module.
You will experience MBA core courses presented in a format that maximizes teamwork, leadership, faculty interaction, and experience. Freeman's intensive seven-week sessions are designed to illustrate the breadth of management responsibilities while you interact in a global setting.
At Freeman you will experience career-focused electives early. You start taking electives in the first year, including several in the second semester, allowing you to build greater depth in career-specific knowledge. Based on your career objectives, you can choose to concentrate in finance, marketing, or strategic management and leadership. All full-time MBA develops a supporting concentration in international business. Specializations in energy and entrepreneurship are unique options for Freeman MBAs.
Electives can be selected from several fields of study, enabling the Freeman student to develop a broad set of management skills. This breadth assures an MBA experience that develops the whole manager in you.
Tulane faculty and the career center staff work with each student to develop a career track to focus the academic content of the MBA program around specific industries. Projects, cases, examples, and internships are then dedicated to the skills and knowledge that will benefit the MBA in that industry. The elective classes are focused, topically-oriented courses.
