New Product Development
This part of the MBA Curriculum involves both a 3 days course and a team-based project.
The course provides the theoretical concepts and the most effective tools to promote product innovation in industrial and service companies.
Participants will understand the importance of cross functional team working and how different kinds of functional expertise are used in the innovation process, having an understanding of the latest innovation theories. In particular, by the end of this course, students will be able to:

manage customers’ needs in order to include them in product characteristics;

develop and select product concepts;

design and manage a new product development process, make early risk identification;

understand the basic concepts of open innovation and its impact on companies’ organisation and business.
The project of New Product Development involves the MBA students in a business project that can give effect to the learned knowledge. The working groups operate under the supervision of the faculty of the School and in close cooperation with the managers of the company.
The program of the International Business full-time MBA is spread over 12 months but deals with all the subjects traditionally covered by a two-year MBA, making it a challenging and involving experience. The pace of work is intensive and requires passion, motivation and active participation.
The intensive nature of this MBA makes it a rich and strong experience, both personally and professionally.
